PESHAWRI SABZI

  Assorted vegetables in white gravy, a light combination.
  
 Cooking Time : 5 minutes.
 Preparation Time : 15 minutes.
 
 Serves 6. Ingredients
  2 teacups mixed boiled vegetables (french beans, carrots, green peas, potatoes)
  3 tablespoons fresh cream
  3 tablespoons milk
  2 tablespoons ghee
  salt to taste
 
 To be ground into a paste
  2 onions
  4 green chillies
  4 cloves garlic
  12 mm. piece ginger
  2 cardamoms
 
 Method
 
 1.  Heat the ghee and fry the paste for 2 minutes.
 
 2.  Add the vegetables (french beans, carrots, green peas, potatoes), cream, milk and salt and cook for a few minutes.
 
 3.  Serve hot with parathas.
